Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure

Stephen Omogbehin is T1explorer’s Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure. He founded the organization in April 2006, bringing to this office over two decades of enterprise technical and business management experience in building a wide range of products, teams, and operations in the US and around the world. The organization was relaunched in April 2020.

 

Prior to this relaunch, Stephen held several high-profile executive level positions. Among them, Sr. Director of Enterprise Network Infrastructure with one of the largest public healthcare providers in the United States - New York City Health and Hospitals. In this role, he successfully led the largest build-out and deployment of EPIC and PointClickCare, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and EHR Systems. He led several infrastructure upgrades and innovative new technologies, including, network security, new network architecture and engineering, telecommunication, Voice Over IP, Telehealth design standards and associated software platform upgrades and support services reorganization. These systems and services provided technology infrastructure services for direct patient care.

 

Prior to joining NYC Health and Hospitals, Stephen served in other IT leadership roles with some of industry’s most respected multi-national corporations and public-sector employment. Among them are, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, NCR Corporation, State of New Jersey and other consulting roles. With a career spanning Africa and North America, his leadership roles included, Senior Director of Network and Security Operations, Director of New Jersey Statewide Enterprise Support Services, Executive Director of IT, Director of Program Management, Sr. Information Technology Operations Manager, Network Deployment Manager, Information Technology Manager and as Sr. Network Engineer. Some of the sectors that he served in included, Aviation, Manufacturing, HealthCare, Telecommunication, Wireless, Oil and Gas, Financial, Information Technology, Environmental Protection, Transportation, State and Federal government.

 

Stephen was personally recognized by the State of New Jersey and awarded Certificate of Recognition for going beyond the ordinary call of duty to help people affected during the Super Storm Sandy. He was recognized by Verizon Wireless for 'Personal and Team Best' for technical delivery and customer satisfaction. During his tenure at NCR Corporation, he was admitted to the Century Point's Club (CPC), one of NCR's achievement award for exemplary performance for three consecutive years and was honored by NCR as technical Leader for Latin America, Middle East and Africa group.

 

Stephen is a Certified Systems Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Political Science from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria and a Masters of Business and Technology Management (MBA/TM) degree from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona.
